Biomechanics

The biomechanical function of the bipolar heads can be seen mainly in the fact that the outer shell to the exercise habits of the patient in the acetabulum sets and can be moved slightly only in extreme situations. The substantial movement work is being done between the inner sphere and the polyethylene. In addition to its cost-effectiveness in the Bipolar head no further, as separate parts (Inlay & outer cup) are necessary. Furthermore, he has an extremely large “range of motion”, because not only the femoral head moves in the cup but also the outer cup in Acetablum.
