Orthocem are radiopaque, sterile and self-curing acrylic bone cements.

 

• Immediate and stable bone fixation of implants
• Two different viscosity are optimal for the desired application of the operator:
  – Orthocem 1: standard viscosity for manual use
  – Orthocem 3: Low viscosity at optimum fluidity for application with a
  cement- or Injection gun.

Both versions are available with optional viscosity aminoglycoside antibiotic gentamicin (g1 and g3)

Advantages:

• Mechanical properties above the ISO 5833 standards
• Stable implant fixation
• A final Endaushärtungsphase reduces the risk of micro-movements of the implant
• Barium sulfate as radiopaque agent
• Simple preparation manually via shell and spatula or in a vacuum mixing system.
